North Central Regional Transit District’s “Blue Bus” Modifies and Adds New Routes/Stops in Santa Fe County

Santa Fe County would like to notify residents regarding the following new North Central Regional Transit District (NCRTD) routes and modifications taking place in July.

1. NCRTD 599 ROUTE EXPANSION TO MADRID TO BEGIN JULY 10 - Beginning July 10, the RTD 599 Route will be expanded to include service south along the Highway 14 corridor to Madrid with stops in Cerrillos and Lone Butte, and north to Santa Fe Place Mall (at Santa Fe Trails transit center) with stops at the southside WalMart (stop located on Cerrillos Road) and the Santa Fe Fashion Outlet Mall.

2. POJOAQUE ROUTE TO BEGIN SERVICE IN NAMBÉ PUEBLO JULY 10 - The NCRTD Pojoaque Route will begin service to Nambé Pueblo on July 10 with stops at the Pueblo Housing Authority and the Pueblo Governor’s Office.

3. TESUQUE ROUTE TO ADD TESUQUE VILLAGE MARKET STOP JULY 10 - The NCRTD Tesuque Route will add a stop at the Tesuque Village Market beginning July 10.

4. EDGEWOOD STOP TO BE MOVED FROM SENIOR CENTER TO COMMUNITY CENTER JULY 10 - The NCRTD Edgewood stop will be relocated from the Edgewood Senior Center to the Edgewood Community Center on July 10.

5. THE RIVERSIDE ROUTE WILL BE EXTENDED INTO THE PUEBLO OF OHKAY OWINGEH WITH PICK-UP AND DROP-OFF AT THE P’OE TSAWA COMMUNITY LIBRARY BEGINNING JULY 8, 2013 - The service extension will be four times daily with one run in the morning, two mid-day and one in the evening.
