Notice of Voting System Recheck
NOTICE OF VOTING SYSTEM RECHECK
FOR SANTA FE COUNTY PRECINCT 37
Notice is hereby given that the New Mexico Court of Appeals Position 3 race in Santa Fe County Precinct 37 has been selected for inclusion in the State of New Mexico’s Voting System Check that is performed after each general election pursuant to NMSA 1978, Section 1-14-13.2 and 1.10.23.9 NMAC. During the Voting System Check, the Santa Fe County Clerk, Geraldine Salazar (“County Clerk”), will compare the original machine count precinct vote totals for Santa Fe County Precinct 37, including early absentee and absentee by mail machine vote totals, for the New Mexico Court of Appeals Position 3 race with the respective vote totals of a hand recount of the paper ballots for that race.
The County Clerk will commence the Voting System Check of Precinct 37 on Friday, November 27, 2020, at 8:00 a.m. at the County Clerk’s Office Warehouse located at 2600 Galisteo Road, Santa Fe, NM 87505. The Voting System Check will take place each day from 8:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m. until the Voting System Check is complete.
Persons designated as county canvass observers may observe the hand recount described in Subsection C of Section 1-14-13.2 NMSA 1978. Observers shall comply with the procedures governing county canvass observers as provided in Section 1-2-31 NMSA 1978.
