November 27, 2012 BCC Summary
Santa Fe, NM – November 28, 2012 - Below is a summary of the actions taken by the Santa Fe Board of County Commissioners (BCC). All five Commissioners were present.
The BCC approved the October 30, 2012 minutes.
The Consent Calendar was unanimously approved. Resolution 2012-160 and Resolution 2012-161 were withheld from the Consent Calendar and unanimously approved. Final Orders for CDRC CASE #MP/PDP 09-5300 was also withheld from the Consent Calendar and approved (4-1 with Commissioner Anaya voting against).
Presentations
- Recognition of retirement of Richard Lopez, 28 years of dedicated service to the County Assessor’s Office.
- Acknowledgement and recognition of Santa Fe County Employee Robert Martinez II, for qualifying for the 2012 World Series of Team Roping Finals in Las Vegas, Nevada.
- Presentation from the La Bajada Mutual Domestic Water Consumers Association on their Water Trust Board Financing.
Public Works Department
- The BCC unanimously approved a Building Lease Agreement between the County and Presbyterian Medical Services for a County owned building, parking lot and playground located at County Road 98 in Chimayo for a Headstart Program in Santa Fe County.
Administrative Services Department
- The BCC unanimously approved Contract #2012-0210-OS/PL to Loris & Associates for the Engineering Design Services for the Arroyo Hondo Trail in the amount of $569,996 exclusive of GRT.
- The BCC unanimously approved Agreement #2013-0115-CORR/PL for electronic monitoring services in the amount of $420,000.
Matters From The County Manager
- Public Works Report, Human Resources Report and Corrections Monthly Report were provided.
- The BCC reviewed and discussed the Monthly Financial Report for the month ending October 31, 2012.
Matters From The County Attorney
- The BCC unanimously approved the request to Publish title and general summary of the Santa Fe County Animal Control Ordinance: An Ordinance governing the duties of animal owners; impoundment of animals; issuance of permits; defining offenses; establishing penalties; and repealing Santa Fe County Ordinances 1981-7, 1982-7, 1990-8 And 1991-6 and Santa Fe County Resolution 1982-28. This Ordinance will have two public hearings.
- The BCC unanimously approved the annual renewal of the Public Liability Insurance Policy.
Matters From The Commission
- Resolution No. 2012-162, a Resolution dedicating Santa Fe County South Meadows Bridge as the Sergeant First Class Leroy Arthur Petry Bridge was unanimously approved.
- Resolution No. 2012-163, a Resolution approving expenditure of $100,000 from the Capital Outlay for monument signs and signage accessories for the Agua Fria Village Gateway Entrance and the Sergeant First Class Leroy Petry Bridge was unanimously approved.
