October 11 BCC Meeting Summary

Santa Fe – October 12, 2011 – Below is a summary of the actions taken by the Santa Fe Board of County Commissioners. All five Commissioners were present.

Consent Calendar:

The BCC approved Final Orders for CDRC Case # V 11-5150, Jose Chris Tercero Variance

Procurement:

The BCC unanimously approved a contract in the amount of $284,100 to remodel the Nambe Community Center was awarded to Longhorn Construction

Growth Management:

The Board authorized publish of title and general summary for an ordinance that would suspend on a case by case basis provisions of the Land Development Code for master plans, preliminary plats and final plats that have expired due to economic hardship

Matters From the County Clerk:

An ordinance establishing reasonable fees to recover costs in the Clerk's Office was tabled

Matters From the County Manager:

• Redistricting option map C2 was unanimously approved and adopted through County Ordinance 2011-8. The map and Ordinance are available at www.santafecountynm.gov/county_commissioners/redistricting

• Property and Facilities Director Mark Hogan gave the BCC an update on his communication with the Santa Fe Public School District regarding possible relocation of Agua Fria Elementary School

Public Hearings:

The following cases were approved:

• BCC Case #MIS 11-5280, Santa Fe Spirits Alcohol Craft Distiller

• BCC Case #MIS 11-5290, The Steaksmith at El Gancho

• BCC Case #MIS 11-5300, Don Quixote Distillery and Winery

• CDRC Case #V 11-5210, Edwin & Francesca Lemus Variance
