Office of Emergency Management Announces Kick-Off Meeting for Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC)
Santa Fe, NM– The Santa Fe County Office of Emergency Management is excited to announce the kick-off meeting for the Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC), scheduled for Friday, August 2, 2024, from 3:00pm-5:00pm at the Nancy Rodriguez Community Center, located at 1 Prairie Dog Loop, Santa Fe, NM, 87507.
The LEPC kick-off meeting aims to establish a collaborative framework focused on enhancing community preparedness and response capabilities related to Hazardous Materials. This initiative seeks to gather diverse insights and expertise from various sectors, including government agencies, non-profit organizations, businesses, and community groups.
At the meeting, the roles and responsibilities of the LEPC will be discussed, followed by the identification of organizational representatives. After these discussions, there will be a question-and-answer session for interested community members and stakeholder representatives.
