Opportunity for Free Dental Care this week April 8 and April 9

Santa Fe: The New Mexico Mission of Mercy (NM MOM) in Santa Fe, New Mexico, at the Santa Fe Convention Center, has recruited over 1,200 volunteers to help staff New Mexico’s largest charity event on April 8th and 9th, 2016. The Santa Fe Convention Center will be converted into a dental clinic treating individuals who seek free, first-come-first-serve basic care. Doors open at 5:30 am on Friday and Saturday. Santa Fe County Community Services Department, in partnership with Rio Arriba Health Commons and Holy Cross Hospital in Taos County, will be offering benefits enrollment screenings for Medicaid, as well as information on other benefits for eligible seniors.

The goal for this year’s New Mexico Mission of Mercy in Santa Fe New Mexico is to provide one million dollars in donated dental treatment and serve over 1,000 people who could not otherwise get the help they need. In previous NM MOM’s we have served 5,700 patients and provided $3.8 million dollars in donated dental care.
We are proud to present New Mexico’s fifth Mission of Mercy. It is only through the generous citizens who participate in this invaluable opportunity to give back to the community that we are able to help so many smile again.
