The Regional Emergency Communication Center is reporting that a cut in a Qwest fiber optic phone line has temporarily disrupted telephone service for a small number of residences in the Pojoaque area. Only home telephone services have been affected by this cut so emergency services can still be reached by dialing 911 on cellular phones.  For those residents who have been affected but who do not have cell phones, emergency services can be obtained at the Pojoaque Fire Station.  Qwest is working diligently to resolve the situation as quickly as possible.
