Planned Water Outage for Las Lagunitas and La Cienega Area
Santa Fe, NM – January 3, 2014 - The Santa Fe County Utilities Division will be making repairs to a 16 inch water main that supplies Las Lagunitas and the La Cienega area on Wednesday, January 8. The repairs will cause an interruption in water service from approximately 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. The water main runs along the southern frontage road parallel to I-25 near the National Guard Complex. It is the sole source for water deliveries to County water customers in the Las Lagunitas and La Cienega areas.
Customers may notice air entrained in the water (water appears milky white) for several days following the repairs. The entrained air does not pose a health risk and should diminish with usage of the water in the lines.
