President Vetoes Bill Containing Funds that Impact County; $750K for St. Vincent Hospital
President Bush has vetoed a bill that would have provided $750,000 to St. Vincent’s Regional Medical Center to expand and renovate the emergency department, establish a cardiac program, and enable the hospital to pursue Level II trauma designation. Santa Fe County partners with St. Vincent in providing health care for those who cannot access it on their own.
