"Cosmos: A SpaceTime Odyssey" World Premiere On March 9
Santa Fe, NM – March 7, 2014 – On March 9, 2014 "Cosmos: A SpaceTime Odyssey" will have the largest global television release in history. The 13-part series was proudly filmed in the world-class sound stages at Santa Fe Studios. It will air in 170 countries and 45 languages on over 220 channels globally, the largest global opening ever for a television series. The debut is a reboot of the original “Cosmos,” a television documentary which aired on PBS in 1980.
The original Cosmos was considered a cultural phenomenon and took viewers on a journey of the universe and explained complicated scientific ideas in an easy to understand way.
