Rancho Viejo Boulevard Improvements for Santa Fe County Rancho Viejo Fire Station
Santa Fe – February 14, 2012 – Santa Fe County Public Works Department will begin the construction of off- site improvements on Monday, February 20, 2012 to Rancho Viejo Boulevard directly in front of the new Rancho Viejo Fire Station between Bisbee Court and Via Punto Nuevo South of State Road 14. A southbound dedicated left turn lane and northbound deceleration lanes into the new facility will be created for safe access in and out of the Fire Station and to allow through traffic to negotiate this area without delay.
To accommodate local traffic, this construction will be completed in phases and should be complete by March 19, 2012. Rancho Viejo Boulevard will remain open at all times. Regular work hours of construction will be from 7:30 am to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Scheduled intermittent lane closures will take place throughout the day, but will not occur during peak traffic flow.
Drivers should expect intermittent lane closures and allow additional time to negotiate this work zone. Santa Fe County would like to thank residents for their patience and cooperation in advance.
