Request a Ride: District 1 Seniors at El Rancho Senior Center Offered Free Transportation for November 5, 2024, Election

Santa Fe, NM-Santa Fe County Senior Services is offering free transportation exclusively for seniors participating at the El Rancho Senior Center, located in District 1, to ensure they can easily reach their polling site for the general election on Tuesday, November 5, 2024. This free service, for elders aged 60 and older aims to ensure that seniors in the community have a safe and accessible way to cast their ballots.

Transportation will be provided from the El Rancho Senior Center, located at 394 County Road 84, El Rancho, NM 87506, to the polling site located at Pojoaque High School, 1574 State Road 502, West Pojoaque, NM 87506. In previous years, the El Rancho Senior Center served as a polling site. Since it has been moved to Pojoaque High School this year, we want to ensure that seniors who arrive at the center have reliable transportation to the new location. Due to limited resources, transportation will only be provided from the El Rancho Senior Center this year as transit is generally reserved for medical appointments and related services.

Departure Times

  • 10:00 AM

To qualify for this service, seniors must complete a transportation assessment by Friday, November 1, 2024. Santa Fe County Senior Services encourages all eligible seniors to contact them as soon as possible to ensure they can participate in this free transit opportunity.

How to Request a Ride: Contact Santa Fe County Senior Services at 505-992-3069 to complete your assessment, or for more information.
