Residents Needed to Serve on County Open Land and Trails Planning Committee
Santa FeCounty is looking for residents to serve on the County Open Land and Trails Planning and Advisory Committee (COLTPAC). COLTPAC members are volunteers appointed by the Board of County Commissioners to assist in further developing the County’s Open Space and Trails Program. COLTPAC members represent the geographic area of the County in which they reside. They advise the County on:
§ Potential acquisition projects,
§ Open space and trails planning and management,
§ Implementation of the County Open Lands and Trails Plan.
Applicants should be enthusiastic, experienced, and comfortable working in a consensus-building environment. COLTPAC holds evening public meetings at least once a month in downtown Santa Fe. Positions are currently available for representatives from the North, Central, South, and City regions of the County. Residents interested in serving should send a letter of interest outlining their qualifications and interests in serving as well as a resume to:
