Ribbon Cutting for La Piedra Trail
Santa Fe, NM – May 29, 2012 - Santa Fe County Open Space and Trails Program and the Santa Fe Conservation Trust invite you to the official opening of the La Piedra Trail on Friday, June 1, 2012 at 2 p.m. The Ribbon Cutting Ceremony will be held in the Dale Ball Trail parking lot at Sierra del Norte and Hyde Park Road. The La Piedra Trail connects the Dale Ball Trails North with the County’s Little Tesuque Creek Open Space and Trail.
There will be a short ceremony with County and City officials and representatives of the Santa Fe Conservation Trust who helped make this new trail connection possible.
Following the ribbon cutting, everyone is invited to hike to the new trail, which is about an hour round trip. Come out and celebrate and support the opening!
