Rio en Medio Senior Center Closing
Santa Fe County will be closing the Rio en Medio Senior Center on Monday, August 1, 2011 for a complete renovation of the kitchen and reconfiguration of the dining area. The center will reopen by Monday, October 3, 2011.
Commissioner Danny Mayfield suggests, "During this time we encourage residents to take the opportunity to use Senior Services transportation to attend surrounding area senior centers."
Any resident in the Rio en Medio service area who would like to participate in a luncheon meal, request transportation to another area senior center or receive home delivered meals, please call Jewel Pacheco at (505)992-3040 or Ron Pacheco at (505)992-9896.
