Road Work Detour/Road Closure on Avenida del Monte Alto
Santa Fe County will begin road work on Avenida del Monte Alto ( in the Eldorado Subdivision) on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 and is scheduled to continue through Friday, April 3, 2015 (weather permitting). The work will extend from Avenida Vista Grande approximately one mile northeast to Avenida Amistad and will take place daily from 6 a.m. – 8 p.m., weekends included.
The road work is to reclaim and overlay Avenida del Monte Alto with a new three inch hot mix asphalt surface. A full road closure will be necessary in order to accommodate heavy equipment and other road construction activity safely. Local residents will have access to side roads and driveways at all times.
Traffic Control - a full detour will be in place during the course of this work and residential traffic accessing Avenida del Monte Alto from the side roads, should expect short delays. Please allow additional time to negotiate this work zone.
