Sandbags Available to Residents at Northern County Office
Santa Fe County is making sandbags available to residents in Northern Santa Fe County who have been dealing with flooding in recent days. The sandbags are available to residents at the Northern County Office at 17839A Highway 285, Pojoaque, NM. Supply is limited so residents are allowed a maximum of 10 bags. Residents will be responsible for filling the bags.
The Pojoaque is located on the frontage road at the Buffalo Thunder exit on Highway 285. Office hours are: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 12 noon until 5 pm. For more information, call 455-2775.
Just as in any inclement weather, Santa Fe County staff and equipment are prohibited from assisting on private property. Residents should stay away from running streams and arroyos when it rains. If there is an emergency, dial 911.
