Santa Fe City and County Advisory Council on Food Policy Needs Volunteer Members

Santa Fe County is seeking citizens to serve on the Santa Fe City and County Advisory Council on Food Policy (FPC). FPC members are volunteers appointed by the Santa Fe Board of County Commissioners (BCC) to assist the county in engaging and eliciting community input regarding the nutritional needs of county residents and assisting the BCC in studying, researching, and recommending policy to improve the availability of safe and nutritious food at reasonable prices for all residents, particularly those in need.

Applicants should be of diverse backgrounds, and possess expertise in relevant fields, and to the extent possible, represent the diversity of the community in aspects such as culture, gender, age, and geography. A background check will be required for all applicants chosen to serve on the FPC.
The FPC generally holds meetings on the fourth Thursday of each month at 9 a.m.
