Santa Fe County Announces New Site for Senior Citizen Meal Delivery
The Santa Fe County Community Services Department, Senior Services Division is pleased to announce the beginning of congregate meal service for seniors residing at Casa Rufina Apartments as well as seniors from the surrounding area. Casa Rufina Apartments is located at 2323 Casa Rufina Road. Meals will be served Monday thru Friday from 11:30am to 12:30pm. Seniors age 60 and above are eligible for services. Cost for a congregate meal for eligible participants is a suggested donation of $1.50. For Guests not meeting the requirements, meals are $7.50. In addition to congregate meals the Seniors Services program also provides home delivered meals in the area.
Currently the Senior Services program provides services at six Senior Centers across the County. They are located in Eldorado, Edgewood, Chimayo, Rio En Medio, Santa Cruz and El Rancho. For more information contact Teresa Casados, Director at 992-3094.
