Santa Fe County Assessor Unveils New Online Business Personal Property Tool

Santa Fe County Assessor Gus Martinez implemented a new online tool for constituents to file Business Personal Property Declarations electronically. The tool will automatically populate the prior year’s declarations and will offer the capability of editing asset lists and/or applying for Section 179 exceptions, if desired.

This tool is a welcomed addition to the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) portal which allows property owners or their agents to:

• Sign-up to receive Notice of Values electronically through e-mail
• Protest property values (During the month of April)
• File Business Personal Property Online

“It is essential to continue to expand services to help reach our constituents and give them the ability to work with us from the comfort of their own home or office. We encourage residents to visit our website to create an account and file their business personal property online. Our staff is available via live chat for assistance,” said Santa Fe County Assessor Gus Martinez.

The Office of the Santa Fe County Assessor continues to work diligently to implement new technology to better serve the community.
