Santa Fe County Chauffeur and Designated Driver (CADDy) Program

Santa Fe, NM – December 16, 2011 – Santa Fe County would like to remind residents that the Chauffeur and Designated Driver (CADDy) Program is available for all adult residents to utilize every Friday and Saturday night. The CADDy provides safe transportation via Capital City Cab to adults by calling 505-995-9528. The service is available from a residence to any location or from any location to a residence within the Santa Fe City limits for a nominal fee. This service runs on Friday and Saturday nights from 5:30 p.m. until 2:30 a.m. and costs $5 for 1-2 people or $10 for 3 or more people. The cabs operate outside the city limits, however the rider is responsible for the cost from the city limit to the rider's destination.

"We encourage everyone to let the CADDy be their Chauffeur, by simply saving the number 505-995-9528 in their cell phone they will have the service readily available. The program is easy to use, it is important to encourage people to be safe," said Steve Shepherd, Health and Human Services Director.
