SANTA FE COUNTY CLERK’S OFFICE - Santa Fe Community College Election, March 5, 2013

Santa Fe – February 6, 2013- Santa Fe County Clerk, Geraldine Salazar, wants to remind citizens to vote in the March 5, 2013 Santa Fe Community College Election. Voters will choose two new board members from among 12 candidates. Citizens who reside in the Community College District, which is the same as the Santa Fe Public School District, are eligible to vote in the SFCC Election. There are three options for voting.

Early Voting will take place only at the County Clerk’s Office in the County Administration Building (102 Grant Avenue, Santa Fe). Early voting begins Friday, February 8, and continues to Friday, March 1. Hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., including lunch hours.

Absentee Voting: Voters can request an application for an Absentee Ballot now by calling the Clerk’s Office (505-986-6280) or by filling out the online application (http://www.santafecountynm.gov/clerk) and mailing it in. Please note that all Absentee Ballots must be returned to the Clerk’s Office by 7:00 p.m. on March 5, 2013.

Election Day: On March 5, 2013, the polling locations will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Consolidated precincts will be used. ( CLICK HERE for March 5, 2013 Polling Locations)
