Santa Fe County Closes Camino Carlos
Santa Fe – April 3, 2007 – For the next 8 weeks, Santa Fe County will be closing
Camino Carlos Rael where it crosses the Santa Fe River. “Six to seven million
gallons of water per day are being released from the City of Santa Fe’s water
reservoirs” said James Lujan, Director of Growth Management for Santa Fe
County, “Public safety is our number one concern and for about the next two
months we need to keep this area closed to traffic.” There are several detours
set up around the area. If residents have questions, they can call 992-3010.
