 Santa Fe County Hires Utilities Division Director

Santa Fe –June 4, 2010 – Santa Fe County hired Patricio “Pego” Guerrerortiz as the Utilities Division Director. Guerrerortiz, holds a New Mexico Professional Engineer license, and is a certified Wastewater Operator, Level IV.

“Pego brings almost three decades of experience to Santa Fe County, his expertise and work ethic will be valuable to the County and to the new direction the County is moving toward,” said Roman Abeyta, Santa Fe County Manager.

Patricio Guerrerortiz has served in government positions for much of his career. Positions include Public Utilities Department Director, and Wastewater Management Division Director for the City of Santa Fe, Operations Manager for the City of Albuquerque Southside Reclamation Plant, Utility Development Engineer for the City of Albuquerque, among other positions held. Most recently, he served as the Deputy Cabinet Secretary for the New Mexico Department of Transportation before retuning to the private sector to work with Design Enginuity.
