Santa Fe County Holds Meeting to Address ATV/DIRT
Santa Fe – April 5, 2007 – Santa Fe County Commissioner Mike Anaya will be hosting a community
meeting for southern Santa Fe County residents to discuss the use of ATVs/dirt bikes on private
property. “I’m getting two kinds of calls – first, from residents upset with the noise and dust caused by
ATVs and dirt bikes on private property” said Anaya “The other calls have been from parents who are
encouraging their children to ride their ATVs and dirt bikes at home. This meeting is to inform the
neighborhoods of what the County and the Town of Edgewood can do to resolve this conflict.”
The meeting will take place at Edgewood Middle School Gymnasium on Tuesday, April 17th at
6:30pm. The illegal use of ATVs/dirt bikes on County roads will be addressed as well.
