Santa Fe County Joins Mayor’s Gold Cup Health and Fitness Challenge 2014

As part of the Mayor’s Health and Fitness Challenge 2014, Santa Fe County is taking the Challenge and starting today, let the challenge begin. Santa Fe County is mirroring the City campaign and challenging participants in three areas; exercise, eating right and community service. Just like in the City Challenge all county employees were invited to register in teams of 4-6 for a 10-week health and fitness challenge and will have the same point system.

“We are excited to participate in the Health Fitness Challenge, creating an environment for healthier employees, while building non work-related relationships with co-workers,” said Katherine Miller, Santa Fe County Manager. She continued, “This was a great idea by the City and we look forward to setting a high health standard across Santa Fe County.”
