Santa Fe County Needs Citizens to Serve on the County Open Land, Trails, and Parks Advisory Committee (COLTPAC)

Santa Fe, NM – January 25, 2012- Santa Fe County has an opening for a citizen to serve on the County Open Land, Trails, and Parks Advisory Committee (COLTPAC). One position is currently available for an "at large" representative from anywhere in the County COLTPAC members are volunteers appointed by the Board of County Commissioners to assist in further developing the County's Open Space and Trails Program. COLTPAC members advise the County on:

Potential acquisition projects,
Open space, trails, and parks planning and management,
Implementation of the County Open Lands and Trails Plan.

Applicants should be enthusiastic, experienced, and comfortable working in a consensus building environment. COLTPAC holds evening public meetings at least once a month, generally on the third Thursday of the month at 901 West Alameda, Santa Fe, NM.
