Santa Fe County Needs Citizens to Serve on the County Steering Committee for La Bajada Ranch

Santa Fe, NM – September 25, 2012 - Santa Fe County is seeking 12 volunteers to serve on a committee to evaluate development proposals and provide a recommendation and a preliminary written report to the BCC at a public meeting for the 470 acre County property at La Bajada Ranch. This committee was adopted by Resolution 2012-106 at the August 28, 2012 BCC Meeting.

As per Resolution 2012-106 the County is interested in individuals with expertise in one or more of the following areas: Community representation of La Cienega/La Cieneguilla area, commercial and residential development, the Santa Fe County housing market, tribal representation, development of educational programs, green infrastructure, renewable energy and energy conservation, tourism and economic development, water and ecology.
