Santa Fe County Planning Commission Seeks Members from District 2
Santa Fe, NM- The Santa Fe County Growth Management Department (Building and Development Services) is currently seeking interested members of the general public from Commission District 2, to serve on the Planning Commission for a two-year term beginning in January of 2024 and ending in January of 2026.
Commission Members are responsible for attending monthly public hearings on the 3rd Thursday of every month, where Planning Commission members listen to County staff recommendations, project application presentations and testimony from the public. The Planning Commission subsequently makes land development related decisions and recommendations to the Board of County Commissioners (BCC). Projects heard by this commission range from variance requests to Conditional Use Permits and Planned Development Districts.
Planning Commission Members must have computer, email, and internet access to be able to view packet material for the meetings and access the public meetings via WebEx if need be.
