Santa Fe County Public Safety Recruitment Day
Santa Fe, NM- September 13, 2013 - The Santa Fe County Human Resources Division in collaboration with the Public Safety Department and Sheriff’s Office, will host a Public Safety Recruitment Day on Saturday, September 28 from 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. at the Santa Fe County Fairgrounds, 3229 Rodeo Rd. The Recruitment Day will be an opportunity for individuals to join staff from the Sherriff’s Office, Corrections Department, Fire Department and Regional Emergency Communications Center (RECC/911) to see if they have what it takes to be a part of the Public Safety team.
The Human Resources Division will have applications available on site for all vacant Public Safety positions. Individuals will also have an opportunity to take mock physical agility tests, take practice written tests for Corrections, Fire and Sheriff’s Office as well as take a “Critical” practice test for RECC. Staff from each department will also be on hand to answer any questions.
Individuals applying for positions at the event will need to bring a copy of their High School Diploma or equivalent and their drivers license. Individuals participating in the mock physical agility tests are reminded to wear appropriate clothing (shorts, t-shirt, sweat pants, tennis shoes).
