Santa Fe County Receives Risk Awareness Program Award

The New Mexico Counties presented Santa Fe County with a Risk Awareness Program (RAP) Award during the 82nd Annual Conference in Socorro County. The county completed their eighth year of RAP reducing workers’ compensation claims by 13%, auto claims by 53%, law enforcement claims by 38%, and multi-line claims by 46% as compared to the previous year.

The award is offered through NMC’s Risk Awareness Program, a workplace risk control educational program that aims to reduce the frequency and severity of county claims through better risk awareness and safety practices.
