Santa Fe County Road 84 Road Closure For Acequia Del Baranco de Jacona Culvert Replacement
Santa Fe, NM – January 30, 2012 – Santa Fe County will close the section of County Road (CR) 84 between Santa Fe County Road 101B (Dry Creek Road) and Santa Fe County Road 101E north of State Road 502 on February 6, 2012 for approximately five days to replace a damaged culvert belonging to the Acequia Del Baranco de Jacona that crosses CR 84 near address #215. This project is being coordinated by the Santa Fe County Public Works Department and the Acequia Del Baranco de Jacona to help prevent reduction in water flow to residents located downstream of this area.
It is essential this section of County Road (CR) 84 is closed for the duration of the work to accommodate the culvert replacement. All residents along CR 84 will have access to their residential driveways at all times. Access to CR 84 in this area can be made by utilizing CR 101B or the use of CR 101E, both county roads having access from the State Rd 502.
Drivers should expect a full detour and allow additional time to negotiate this work zone. Santa Fe County would like to thank residents in advance for their patience and cooperation.
