Santa Fe County Road Striping Maintenance October 8, 2014 through October 10, 2014

Santa Fe, NM – October 7, 2014 Santa Fe County Public Works Department annual road striping maintenance operations will be conducted on various Santa Fe County maintained roads (see full list below) starting October 8, 2014 through October 10, 2014. All County road striping operations are conducted by a certified contractor and include an escort vehicle, striping truck and trailing vehicle with flashing lights and wet paint/keep back signs.

By law-all road striping operations are considered, active work zones and motorists must obey all work zone and traffic laws. Motorists who violate traffic laws in active work zones are subject to enhanced penalties. Upon encountering a mobile road striping operation, motorists are encouraged to be patient, keep back 500 ft and exercise additional safety precautions.

• Avenida del Sur
• A-Van-Nu-Po
• Richards Avenue
• Las Estrellas
• Tano Road
• Tano Norte
• Tano West
• Camino Los Montoyas
• Old Lamy Trail
• Avenida Vista Grande
• Shenandoah Trail
• Northfork
• Southfork
• Frost Road
• Living Water Road

If you get road striping paint on your vehicle, the paint is water based and can be removed with Ammonia and water.
