Santa Fe County Seeking Two Library Board Members

Santa Fe, NM – April 30, 2013 - Santa Fe County is seeking two members for the Santa Fe Public Library Board. The Santa Fe Public Library was formed by Ordinance which established a free public library and is part of the City government. An advisory governing Board was established and is made up of five City residents and two County residents. The Board is an advisory board which provides Library staff, the City Council and County Commissioners advice on services to the public and guidance on issues pertaining to Library services to the residents of Santa Fe and Santa Fe County. Members serve without compensation and meet monthly.

County Board members shall be appointed by the Mayor on the recommendation of the County Commission and with the approval of the majority of the City Council. Members must live in Santa Fe County.
