Santa Fe County Seeks Capital Improvements Advisory Committee Members

Santa Fe, NM- Santa Fe County is currently seeking volunteer committee members of the general public who are interested in serving on the Capital Improvements Advisory Committee (CIAC). The CIAC consists of five members who are appointed by the Board of County Commissioners (BCC). The primary duty of the CIAC is to advise the BCC on matters related to capital improvement plan (CIP), land use assumptions, and impact fees within the County.

Specific duties shall include:

  • Advise and assist the County in updating and adopting land use assumptions.
  • Review and advise on the capital improvement plan (CIP), to include addressing inequities in or imposing impact fees.
  • Monitor and evaluate implementation of the CIP.
  • File annual reports on the progress of the CIP.

CIAC members shall reside within Santa Fe County. No less than two members must be representative of the real estate, development, or building industries. No member shall be an employee of any governmental entity.
