Santa Fe County Seeks Members for Capital Improvements Advisory Committee

Santa Fe County is seeking committee members to serve on the newly created Capital Improvements Advisory Committee. The Capital Improvements Advisory Committee consists of five volunteers appointed by the Board of County Commissioners (BCC) to:

Advise and assist the County in adopting land use assumptionsReview the capital improvement plan and file written commentsMonitor and evaluate implementation of the capital improvement planFile annual reports with respect to the progress of the capital improvement plan and report any perceived inequities in implementing the plan or imposing any impact feeAdvise the County of the need to update or revise the land use assumptions, the capital improvement plan, and any impact fee

All Committee members shall reside within Santa Fe County and no less than two members must be representative of the real estate, development, or building industries. Members of the Committee shall be appointed by the BCC based upon submitted letters of interest, documented qualifications, county-wide representation, and advice from the Public Works Department. No member shall be an employee of any governmental entity. This recruitment is to fill all five positions.
