Santa Fe County Seeks Residents for Health Policy and Planning Commission and DWI Planning Council

Santa Fe County Health Policy and Planning Commission (HPPC) –The HPPC is seeking five community members from a variety of commission districts. There is a vacancy for a member residing within Commission District 1 (Commission District represented by Henry Roybal), for two members residing within Commission District 2 (Commission District represented by Miguel Chavez) and for two members residing within Commission District 5 (Commission District represented by Liz Stefanics).

HPPC members are volunteers appointed by the Santa Fe Board of County Commissioners (BCC) to engage and elicit community input regarding the health care needs of county residents, and to assist the BCC in studying and researching healthcare and related issues.

DWI Planning Council (DWIPC) – The DWI Planning Council is seeking three community members with a background in law enforcement, emergency services, media, or courts/judicial. Members are volunteers appointed by the Santa Fe Board of County Commissioners (BCC).

Anyone interested in being appointed to the DWI Planning Council must attend at least one DWI Planning Council meeting in order to be eligible to be recommended for appointment. The next meetings are scheduled for March 12, 2015 and April 9, 2015 and will be held at 9 a.m. at 2052 Galisteo Street, Suite B Conference Room.
