Santa Fe County Treasurer Announces Property Tax Outreach

Santa Fe, NM – November 4, 2013- Santa Fe County Treasurer, Patrick “Pat” Varela announces his office will be holding Public Outreach Tax Payment hours at various locations around Santa Fe County. Please see schedule of locations, dates and times below.

“Many people have expressed the need for an easier option to pay property taxes, after some planning we have created a schedule that we hope will be very beneficial to residents, who can’t always make it to the Treasurer’s Office to pay their taxes,” said Patrick “Pat” Varela, Santa Fe County Treasurer. He continued “This is the first time the Santa Fe County Treasurer is hosting office hours around Santa Fe County.” 

The Treasurer’s Office will only accept: Check, Money Order, Credit Card and Cashier’s Checks at the outreach locations.

The County Treasurer would like to remind residents there are various ways to pay your property taxes including:

• Online at  www.santafecountynm.gov(look for the red Pay Taxes box in the top right corner) with a debit or credit card
•  Walk-in at the County Treasurer’s Office, 102 Grant Ave., Santa Fe, NM (first floor)
• Drop-box located at the front of the County Administration Building, 102 Grant Ave., Santa Fe, NM
• Mail in payment - Mailing Address for payments is P.O. Box T, Santa Fe, NM 87504
