Santa Fe County Treasurer Extends Business Hours and Will Host Community Outreach During Second Half Tax Collection

Santa Fe County Treasurer, Patrick “Pat” Varela, extends business hours by one hour during the second half of property tax collections (extended hours started on Monday, April 6, 2015 and will run through Friday, May 8, 2015). The regular hours of operation for the Treasurer’s Office are Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. however, during tax collections the Treasurer’s Office will be open from 8 a.m. - 6 p.m.

Treasurer Varela and staff will also host community outreach for tax payments and inquiries at various locations around Santa Fe County (see full schedule below for dates, times and locations of the community outreach for tax payments).


“Our office has provided the extended hours and outreach schedule for several tax seasons with great success and positive feedback. It is a service well utilized by residents,” said County Treasurer Pat Varela.


At the outreach locations the Treasurer’s Office will only accept: Check, Money Order, Credit Card and Cashier’s Checks – Due to security concerns, cash will not be accepted at these locations.

Ave., Santa Fe, NM 87501.
