SMITH’S PULLS FIREWORKS FROM STORE SHELVES

Effective immediately fireworks and novelties in all Smith’s Stores the New Mexico district have been pulled from the floor and will not be available for customer purchase.

With the current wildfire and drought conditions in the state, it has been determined by Smith’s management that for the good of public safety and to stem customer concerns, Smith’s will not sell any fireworks or novelties for the 4th of July holiday. Smith’s apologizes for any inconvenience this may provide to their customers.

There are 26 Smith’s Stores in New Mexico in the cities of Albuquerque, Los Alamos, Santa Fe, Farmington, Edgewood, Los Lunas, Rio Rancho, Grants, Taos, White Rock, and Socorro.
