Solid Waste Permit Grace Period

Solid Waste Permit Grace Period

Santa Fe –June 14, 2010 – Santa Fe County will extend the use of the solid waste permits by one month. The current permits originally valid from July 1, 2009 to June 30, 2010 will now be valid until August 1, 2010. If residents have used all the punches on their permit punch passes, their current pass will continue to be accepted until August 1 to aide in the transition.

“We want constituents to have enough time to review the new permit options and allow residents enough time to purchase the new permits to ensure a smooth transition for the upcoming permit sale functions,” explained Olivar Barela, Solid Waste Manager.
