Solid Waste Permits Valid Until August 1, 2010
Santa Fe –July 1, 2010 – Santa Fe County 2010/2011 Solid Waste permits are available for sale beginning today, July 1, 2010. Solid waste permits marked valid for 2009/2010 will be valid until August 1, 2010, free of charge. Residents who have used all the punches on their 2009/2010 permits may continue to use their permit until August 1. The County would like to remind residents recycling is free at all transfer stations to Santa Fe County residents.
“Having a grace period provides the opportunity to take advantage of a free month of service, transition into the new permit options, and allow residents sufficient time to purchase a new permit,” said Commission Chair Harry Montoya.
Permits available for purchase:
Residents residing outside of the incorporated areas:
24 trip permit $65
1 trip permit $15
Residents residing within the incorporated areas (City of Santa Fe, Espanola, Edgewood):
1 trip permit $15
Bag tags are available to everyone
5 tags for $5
Small Commercial:
10 trip $110
5 trip $ 70
Recycling:
Free to Santa Fe County Residents
