State Representative for District 50 Application Deadline Extended

Santa Fe, NM – September 12, 2013 - The Santa Fe Board of County Commissioners (BCC) is extending the application deadline for individuals interested in being nominated for the District 50 State Representative seat. Representative Stephen Easley passed away on August 16, 2013, leaving the vacancy.

Individuals interested in being considered, by law must be at least 21 years of age and live within the District (Santa Fe, Bernalillo, Torrance or Valencia Counties). Individuals seeking nomination do not need to be of the same party as Representative Stephen Easley.

Santa Fe County will be accepting letters of interests and resumes until 5 p.m. on Friday, September 27, 2013.

The Letter of Interest should include:

Why you would like to serve as a state representative and how you plan to incorporate the interest of the entire district.
