Sustainable Land Development Plan (SLDP) Update
Santa Fe – May 26, 2010 – Santa Fe County underwent a public input process on the draft Sustainable Land Development Plan (SLDP) through a series of workshops and public hearings, before taking the SLDP to the County Development Review Committee (CDRC). Based on significant public input, a revised final draft of the SLDP will be released in mid June. A public hearing to address the revised final draft is scheduled during at a special CDRC meeting Thursday, June 24 in the County Commission Chambers, 102 Grant Ave. at 6:00 p.m.
During the public hearing on May 15, the CDRC recommended that the County hold a public meeting in southern Santa Fe County to ensure residents’ concerns were addressed. This community meeting will be held Thursday, June 3 at 6:00 p.m. at the Stanley Community Center, 14 Kinsell Ave. (next to the Stanley Fire Station)
A Summary Update on the SLDP is available on the County website. The summary provides a brief overview of the SLDP process and its contents.
