Temporary and Intermittent Road Closures on Bishops Lodge Road to Accommodate Electric Power Pole Work
Santa Fe County Public Works would like to notify residents in the Tesuque area there will be 15 minute road closures on Bishops Lodge Road between Pedregal Place and Lamy Drive (near northern City limits) on Thursday, April 23, 2015 during the mid and late morning hours. Due to the nature of the terrain, it will be necessary to utilize the aerial support of a helicopter, therefore these road closures will occur weather permitting. The closures are necessary to accommodate work by the Public Service Company of New Mexico, to change out three hilltop electric power poles.
The Public Service Company of New Mexico will ensure that all properties in the immediate area of this work will be accessible at all times. Motorists, bicyclists and pedestrians are urged to seek an alternate route, expect a full detour (with each delay lasting about 15 minutes) and allow additional time to negotiate this work zone.
