The Santa Fe County Public Works Department will begin road work on Paseo Nopal for the placement of a new chip seal road surface. Construction work is slated to begin and end on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 beginning at 7:30 am and concluding by 5:00 pm, weather permitting. The project will extend 1.35 miles, between Paseo de Vista north to the end of the County limits near State Road 599. Due to narrow road conditions, it will be necessary to close Paseo Nopal to thru traffic; however, local residents will have access to their properties at all times. A temporary road closure and detour will be in place during the course of this work. Please allow additional time to negotiate this work zone.
