Temporary Road Closure: Spruce Road Improvements

As a part of the scheduled road improvement on Spruce Road, a 48-inch culvert will be installed under the roadway at approximately the midpoint of this project site.  This will result in a complete road closure for the southern half of Spruce Road.

This road closure is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 and be completed Thursday, July 2, 2015, weather permitting.  Construction will begin daily at 7:00 am and conclude by 5:00 pm.

Emergency Response must utilize NM14 to CR42 to Haozous Road to reach the southern segment of Spruce Road (see map below).  Total distance from the Bonanza Creek Road/NM14 intersection to Haozous Road is approximately 6 miles.

Residents that commute on Spruce Road are asked to utilize Haozous Road to County Road 42 to NM14 as a detour during this road closure.  Traffic control and detour signs will be in place during the course of this work.

Santa Fe County would like to thank residents in advance for their continued patience, cooperation and use of caution in work zones at all times.
