Tesuque Village Road (Santa Fe County Road 73) Striping Reconfiguration Project To Begin

The Santa Fe County Public Works Department would like to notify residents that the Tesuque Village Road (Santa Fe County Road 73) striping lane reconfiguration project will begin the week of August 12, 2013. This lane reconfiguration project will take place on Tesuque Village Road extending north from US 84/285 approximately 1 mile to the bridge before the Tesuque Village Market. San Bar Construction is the contractor for this Santa Fe County Public Works Department project.

This new striping layout will be in accordance with the Santa Fe Metropolitan Bicycle Master Plan and exemplifies the County’s commitment to integrate on-road bicycle facilities into its road network for transportation purposes where possible.

In order to accommodate traffic safely through this work area, intermittent lane closures will be required. The duration of this lane reconfiguration and restriping effort will extend 3 days weather permitting and Tesuque Village Road will remain open at all times.

Drivers should expect short delays and allow additional time to negotiate this work zone. If you require additional information about this work, contact Johnny Baca, SFC Traffic Manager at 992-3010 or jpbaca@santafecountynm.gov.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation.
