Training Program Fast Tracks Individuals into Jobs

 

Unemployed and underemployed Santa Fe County residents are eligible to apply for the Professional Readiness & Technical Experience for Careers (PRO-TEC) Program. PRO-TEC offers fast, short-term training for entry-level employment in a variety of industries and increases hire-ability in Santa Fe County. Accepted participants will prepare for Microsoft Office Certifications, learn professional applications for social media, and gain key job readiness skills in a 160 hour, full-time, one-month intensive program. All interested participants are invited to an informational session to learn more about the program at the following times and locations:

  • Wednesday, June 24th, 12-1pm, 2nd Floor Conference Room – (please check in at the front desk) NM Workforce Connection, 301 W. De Vargas St., Santa Fe, NM 87501
  • Friday, June 26th, 5pm-6pm, Room 217, Santa Fe Community College (Main Campus), 6401 Richards Ave., Santa Fe, NM 87508
  • Tuesday, June 30th, 12-1pm, 2nd Floor Conference Room – (please check in at the front desk) NM Workforce Connection, 301 W. De Vargas St., Santa Fe, NM 87501

Santa Fe County is sponsoring this opportunity in partnership with the Northern Area Local Workforce Development Board, Santa Fe Community College, New Mexico Workforce Connection, and SER-Jobs for Progress, Inc. Scholarships and stipends are available for qualifying participants.
