Transfer Permit Pass Extended for Green Waste AtJacona Transfer Station
Santa Fe, NM – July 8, 2011- Santa Fe County residents who utilize the Jacona Solid Waste Transfer Station will be allowed to dump green waste until July 31, 2011 using their 2010/2011 transfer permit pass. The Jacona Solid Waste Transfer Station was unable to accept green waste between June 10, 2011 and June 22, 2011 due to a broken piece of equipment and an overflow of green waste.
This extension will only be at Jacona Transfer Station and only for green waste. Green waste includes dried leaves, grasses, weeds, tree limbs and brush.
The Jacona Transfer Station is open Wednesday through Monday from 8 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and closed on Tuesday.
